Start from Cairo, without missing the great Pyramids of Giza, then enjoy the luxurious Oberoi Zahra Nile Cruise between Luxor and Aswan.

Day 1: Welcome

  • On your arrival at Cairo International Airport, our representative will be there to offer you all kinds of help needed through passport control.
  • You’ll be transported to the St. Regis hotel, finish your check-in procedures, and have a good night.

Day 2: Cairo – Heart Of Civilization

  • Good morning, have your breakfast and get ready for an unforgettable experience.
  • Who are the Pharaohs? You’ll find the perfect answer at the Egyptian Museum, where 100.000 pieces of antiquities will tell you stories about their life, habits, and religion. Don’t miss the unique treasure of King Tut Ankh Amen.
  • Then, visit the world’s best monument, The Great Pyramids of Giza, one of the seven wonders of the old world. Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus were the kings who built these tombs. They had left them secured by a massive statue of a human head with a lion body called the Sphinx.
  • Stop for lunch during visits.
  • After all these visits, you will need a break, go back to the hotel, and get some rest. Good night.

Day 3: Cairo – First Of All

  • Good morning, have your breakfast, and then you’ll proceed to the Capital Tour.
  • Visit the Sakkara Complex, where they got the idea of building a Pyramid for the first time; it was a pyramid consisting of six benches called Zoser Pyramid or also known as the Step pyramid, built in the 27th century BC during the Third Dynasty. Sakkara Complex is full of treasures; 2020 had witnessed many discoveries and excavations, which had added to the area’s reputation.
  • Then walk between the streets of an old district where Khan El Khalili’s open market exists, enjoy the Islamic architecture, and buy yourself a souvenir.
  • Stop for lunch during visits.
  • Head back to the hotel, get some rest, and enjoy your luxurious stay.

Day 4: Fly To Luxor

  • Good morning; after breakfast, you’ll check out from the hotel.
  • A representative will pick you up to drive you to Cairo Airport to catch your flight to Luxor.
  • Upon arrival, you’ll be heading to the luxurious Nile Cruise Oberoi Zahra, check-in, and have a tasty lunch.
  • Then you’ll start your Luxor tour immediately by Karnak Temple, where you can find the effect of so many Kings, as it was built during 2000 years by different Kings and Queens. It’s known by a hypostyle hall of 134 columns forming a maze. This Temple is the second visited monument in Egypt after the Giza Pyramids.
  • Then visit Luxor Temple, founded by King Amenophis III and also King Ramses II, was adding to it, founded in 1400 BCE; this Temple was dedicated to the rejuvenation of kingship.
  • Back to your luxurious boat, have dinner, and spend the night on board.

Day 5: Luxor – History Host

  • Good morning; hope you had a good sleep.
  • Have your breakfast on board, and get ready to discover more secrets.
  • First, visit the Valley of the Kings; this valley is a vast cemetery where some great Kings were buried, from the age of the new Kingdom; inside of these tombs, you’ll be able to watch yourself how great was their ways of burial. You can explore the tombs of Ramses II, Ramses III, Seti I, and the famous Tomb of King Tut Ankh Amen.
  • Afterward, you’ll visit the Temple Of Habu, a mortuary temple built by King Ramses III. Reliefs of this Temple depict the King’s great victory over the Sea People.
  • Then stop by the two Colossi of Memnon; that’s all we have now from Amenophis III funeral temple that had been destroyed right after construction 1200 BC.
  • Go back to the boat, get some rest.
  • Have your lunch while sailing to Quina.
  • You’ll visit the Denderah Temple, where you’ll get to meet Hathor, the wife of Horus, goddess of music, love, and joy. The Temple was built during the Roman Period between 30 BC and 14 AD to be one of the latest temples in Egypt.
  • Then back to the Nile Cruise, enjoy a hot tea on board while having some rest.
  • Hungry? Dinner is ready; enjoy a tasty meal on board.

Day 6: Luxor – Still Has More Secrets

  • Good morning, another day to discover Egypt’s secrets.
  • Have your breakfast while sailing again to Luxor.
  • Visit The Valley Of The Nobles, where high ranked personalities, priests, officials, viziers, army leaders, and some princes were buried. A vast cemetery dates back to the old Kingdom.
  • Then visit Deir El Medina, ruins of a small district where workers used to live during the New Kingdom. These workers were artisans; they had designed and created tombs for Kings around the Valley Of the Kings.
  • Visit Temple Of Queen Hatshepsut, she was not a King’s wife who had built her a temple, but she was a real Queen, ruling Egypt, giving orders, and controlling the army. This Temple is located beneath the cliffs at Deir el-Bahari, designed by Senmout. This mortuary Temple was dedicated to Amun and Hatshepsut.
  • Then back to the boat, enjoy your lunch on board, charge up your energy; the day is not over yet.
  • After lunch, have another look over Luxor Temple, go deeper into its secrets and mysteries.
  • Back to the Nile Cruise, enjoy a sunset from the boat deck.
  • Have a drink, relax on board, or enjoy some of the entertainment programs at the Club Lounge.
  • Have your dinner, and have a good night.

Day 7: Edfu – Follow The Gods

  • Enjoy breakfast while sailing.
  • Have your lunch while still sailing toward Edfu.
  • When the boat stops sailing, hop-off to visit Edfu Temple, built in the Ptolemaic Kingdom between 237 and 57 BCE. It’s dedicated to the god Horus, symbolized by a Falcon as a god of the sky.
  • Back onboard, enjoy your stay.
  • Have your tasty dinner, then good night.

Day 8: Aswan – Beauty Conclusion

  • Enjoy your breakfast and lunch while sailing to Aswan.
  • Upon arrival, visit the High Dam; it has an essential role in the manner of protecting from floods and producing electricity while also saving water in the vast reservoir, Lake Nasser.
  • Then visit Philae Temple. It’s not its original location; UNESCO had relocated it to save it from the water inundation, built by Taharqa or Psamtik II in the 7th or the 6th century BC.
  • Then back to the Nile Cruise, get some rest, or enjoy the Pool Deck.
  • Then have your dinner.
  • Good night.

Day 9: Kom Ombo/Aswan – Back And Forth

  • Good morning, have your breakfast while sailing to Kom Ombo, and get ready for the upcoming adventure.
  • Visit Kom Ombo Temple, which is dedicated to two gods, Sobek, the crocodile face, and the falcon face god Haroeris.
  • Then back to the Nile Cruise, have lunch while sailing back again to Aswan.
  • Enjoy an afternoon at the Botanical Garden, located on an island in the middle of the Nile.
  • Back on board, relax, have a cup of tea.
  • Then go off-board again to enjoy the Sound and Light Show at the Philae Temple, get to know the full story of such a great monument.
  • Enjoy your dinner before going to bed.
  • Good night.

Day 10: Aswan – Open Day

  • Good morning, have your breakfast on board.
  • You could enjoy an optional tour to Abu Simbel, built by King Ramses II. The King’s birthday is celebrated here every year by a special event when the first sun rays of this day illuminate the King’s face in the inner sanctuary. This phenomenon happens another time to celebrate the King’s coronation day. You would be lucky to witness such an event. Beside this Temple, a smaller one belongs to King Ramses’ wife, Nefertari. The whole area was removed from its original location by UNESCO to be saved from Nile water floods.
  • Enjoy the rest of the day onboard after having lunch, relax, get some rest, or enjoy the Club Lounge entertainment events.
  • Enjoy dinner, then have a good night.

Day 11: Back To Cairo

  • After breakfast, you’ll check out the Oberoi Zahra Nile Cruise.
  • Our representative will drive you to the Airport to catch your flight back to Cairo.
  • Upon arrival, our representative will guide you to the JW Marriott hotel, where you’ll spend your last night in Egypt.

Day 12: See You Later

  • After your breakfast, check-out from the hotel and move toward the Airport to catch your flight back home.
  • It was a concentrated dose of Egypt, but believe it or not, it still got more to tell you, so you maybe should consider another visit. We’ll be pleased to see you again.
